Seminar Registration

The Freshman Seminars are one- and two-credit hour classes with a maximum of eighteen students. Seminars are listed under Arts & Sciences (ASC) 137 and 138 and offer two grading options:

• ASC 137 courses use letter grades
• ASC 138 courses use satisfactory/unsatisfactory grades

Students new to the university will register for seminars during their summer orientation. Continuing students may register for seminars when they register for their winter or spring quarter classes. Students may take one seminar per quarter.
